When we surrounded from all sides by difficulties & darkness,then suddenly we move towards god and tell him to show us the way & save us.Then suddenly in that deep darkness,there arise a small ray of hope whish show us the way.It"s only due to the power of prayer.Prayer is not just only a group of few words,but it"s a wholly & deep feeling of someone"s heart which never let him down. True prayer is less about asking and begging for things we are attached to than it is about relinquishing our attachments to things, persons and possessions. We, in essence, being the sparks of the Divine Effulgence, ought to pray for illumination of our inner selves with the sublime glow of divinity-no storm of hardship or turbulence of ups and downs of life could ever quaver the flame of our faith in our divine origin as souls.
According to an experiment conducted in "School of medicine of Columbia University",prayer is not only helpful in day-today"s life,but also helpful in the condition where no option remains.The experiment was done on 100 woman"s which were unable to conceive.A group prayer was performed for them without telling the and it showed positive results.A detailed description of this experiment was published in "Journal of Reproductive Health".
